Sharon urges early voting due to high school lot construction
Sharon's Town Clerk is urging residents to vote early at Town Hall because of ongoing construction at a Sharon High School parking lot, with in-person voting available through Friday and a 24/7 ballot drop box in the Town Hall foyer.
The Town of Sharon announced Oct. 29 that residents should consider voting early for the State Election because of continued construction at one of the Sharon High School parking lots.
The Town Clerk's Office is offering early in-person voting at Town Hall, 90 S. Main St. Hours were Thursday, Oct. 29, until 6 p.m., and are Friday, Oct. 30, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Residents who still have a Vote By Mail Ballot and want to avoid using the postal service can drop it off at Town Hall in the Ballot Box located in the foyer, which is available 24/7. The town reminds voters to seal the ballot in the brown affidavit envelope and sign the envelope before dropping it off.
The release includes a link for more information on the State Election.
