Sharon Sets July 3 Fireworks, Concert Series Opens July 1 at Veterans' Park
With the Fourth of July holiday days away, Sharon is lining up a full slate of community events — fireworks and a town celebration on July 3, a summer concert series opening July 1, and adjusted hours at Town Hall and the library.
TOWN HALL
Sharon's annual Independence Day Celebration returns Friday, July 3, at Veterans' Memorial Park, featuring fireworks, children's activities, food trucks, live music, and more. Town offices will be closed that day in observance of the holiday.
The summer concert season gets underway a day earlier: Devil's Rock will perform Wednesday, July 1, at 6:30 p.m. at Veterans' Memorial Park Beach, kicking off the Sharon Recreation Department's outdoor concert series.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
Sharon Public Library will close early — at 2 p.m. — on Friday, July 3, and remain closed Saturday, July 4, for Independence Day. Patrons should plan accordingly for holds, returns, and computer access. The library also notes that parking on site remains limited while solar panels are being installed on the roof.
