State Declares Level 2 Drought, Limits Sharon Watering To Handheld Hoses

Friday, July 3 (ongoing) — State officials have declared most of Massachusetts, including Sharon, to be under a Level 2 significant drought. The Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs is requiring residents to restrict all outdoor water use to handheld hoses only until conditions improve.
