Sharon Day Celebration Returns to Veterans Memorial Park Beach Sept 27
SHARON — The town is gearing up for the sixth annual Sharon Day celebration at Veterans' Memorial Park Beach on Sept. 27, even as Sharon Public Schools seeks a resident to fill an open seat on the Southeastern Regional School Committee.
TOWN HALL The Sharon High School textile donation bin is temporarily out of reach for residents. The town says the collection bin in the senior parking lot is inaccessible while crews build a solar canopy there, and no timeline was given for when donations could resume.
SCHOOLS Sharon Public Schools is looking for a resident to represent the town on the Southeastern Regional School Committee. The district is accepting applications for the open seat, according to a notice posted on the town's website this week.
COMMUNITY & ARTS Sharon Day returns for a sixth year on Sunday, Sept. 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Veterans' Memorial Park Beach, the town announced this week.
