SHARON — Zoning Board approves home dog daycare at 42 Longmeadow Lane. Chair Arnold Wallenstein and the board unanimously approved a variance for applicants Gus and Marian Castaneda to operate a home-based dog boarding and daycare business in their 1,568-square-foot rural-district home, with capacity for six to seven dogs. The approval, supported by neighboring residents Jeffrey Mahoney and Kathi Mirza, imposed eight conditions including annual fencing inspections by Animal Control Officer Rachel Oles, client visits limited to the curb, and operating hours of 7:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.

Monday through Saturday. The business must comply with state law and all town kennel license and Animal Control Officer requirements.
