SHARON — The Standing Building Committee approved a $12,352 invoice for the Water Treatment Plant project. The committee voted 6-0-0 for Weston & Sampson engineering services covering July 25 through August 21, with construction continuing on piping, filtration systems, electrical work, and lab cabinetry installed as of the meeting date. Permanent power is targeted for late September pending Eversource confirmation on transformer placement.
Paving is scheduled for completion before Thanksgiving, with several pending change orders under review and the project tracking on budget.
