Transportation Board Approves Prior Minutes, Outlines 2026 Work Plan
Transportation Advisory Board · Meeting of February 3, 2026
SHARON — Transportation Board outlines 2026 initiatives for Select Board. Chair Linda Hager and the five-member Transportation Advisory Board voted unanimously to approve prior minutes and identified three major work priorities: reexamining Sharon train station circulation and reopening the station building for passenger shelter; reviewing the Massapoag Avenue rotary design through a state planning agency report; and conducting a follow-up study of traffic impacts from Costco development. Board members discussed a shuttle service from nearby apartment complexes to reduce station-area vehicle trips, though past surveys showed limited resident interest in ride-share alternatives.
The board will present the 2026 initiatives to the Select Board on February 24, 2026.
