SHARON — Transportation Advisory Board elects Littman chair, Collins vice chair. The five-member board unanimously elected Michael Littman as Chair and Will Collins as Vice Chair for the term July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, after approving February 3 meeting minutes 4-0-0. The board adopted the Select Board-approved 2026 charge, which expands TAB's mandate from its original 1959 focus on passenger rail service to encompass all transportation affecting Sharon, including motor vehicle traffic, pedestrian and bicycle safety, parking, sidewalks, and infrastructure.

The board's three 2026 operational priorities are improving train station circulation and exploring shuttle service from housing complexes; reviewing the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization's Massapoag Rotary study; and assisting with a Costco development traffic impact follow-up study.
