Sharon Zoning Board unanimously approves Phase 3 veterinary facility.
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of March 11, 2026
Sharon Zoning Board approves mixed-use development's veterinary facility phase. The board unanimously approved Case 1938 at 144 Old Post Road, a 25,000 square foot building for Ninety-Five LLC on Lot 1 of the Sharon Gallery project, voting 5-0-0 to close the hearing and 3-0-0 to approve the major site plan with standard conditions. Attorney Robert Shelmerdine and Manager David Spiegel presented plans for the facility, which features separate entrances for sick animals and retail, over 100 parking spaces, and a drop-off area.
Chair Joe Garber raised concern about the building's proximity to a conservation area near cranberry bogs, which Town Engineer Kyle Dubuc said he had not previously been made aware of. The veterinary facility is the third phase of a development underway since 2006; buildings F, D, and E have already been approved.
