Energy Advisory Committee and Municipal Solar Advisory Committee · Meeting of September 14, 2026

SHARON — The Sharon municipal solar oversight committee voted 6-0 on net metering reallocation. The panel recommended that the Town Administrator and Select Board accept a proposed reallocation of net metering credits among town accounts, presented by Eden Floyd, Town Energy Manager. The reallocation corrects overallocation to certain accounts and redirects credits from inactive facilities such as the former library, plus the new Pond Street solar canopy project.

The committee also discussed the stalled Mountain Street Landfill Solar PV Project and deferred further action pending a purchase agreement with likely buyer Goodfinch Management LLC or a call with the current owner on September 23.
