Sharon Select Board approves liquor license transfer, appoints CPC member

Sharon Select Board unanimously approves liquor license transfer to new owner. Route 27 Inc. d/b/a Sharon Market, with owner Chandni Patel, a Sharon resident and US citizen, received approval to operate the business at 17 Post Office Square; cosmetic renovations are planned with an expected June opening. The Board also unanimously appointed Satyendra Sharma to the Community Preservation Committee for a term ending December 31, 2026, citing his financial background as well-suited to the finance-driven committee.
In other action, the Board accepted a $37,500 donation from Camp Everwood Partners to the Lake Massapoag Advisory Committee and appointed four members to the Library Reuse Committee.
