Sharon Library Trustees approve six policies, relocate stone benches

Library Trustees · Meeting of April 15, 2026

Sharon Library Trustees unanimously approve six governance policies and vote to relocate benches. The board cleared parking, local authors, closing, FY2027 closing schedule, public announcement, and surplus materials disposition policies in four motions moved by Sarah Windman and seconded by Carolyn Weeks. Director Randy Gagné reported $25,000 remaining in the book budget and noted that a planned solar panel installation will require eight to ten weeks of work and use of parking spots between seven a.m. and four p.m.
