Sharon Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee approves amended minutes and welcomes new School Committee liaison Georgeann Lewis. The Committee voted unanimously to designate Lauren Grasso and Sayjal Patidar Menon as liaisons to the Sharon Wellness Alliance's Building a Digital Future program, which relates to proposed statewide cellphone restrictions in schools. Jennifer Illuzzi reported that school administration has committed to responding within ten business days to a Public Records Request concerning the current absence of a DEI Coordinator position; the Committee noted ongoing concerns raised by residents about curriculum handling related to Middle East teaching and school administration response.
