Sharon Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee unanimously approves three budget reallocations at May 20 supplementary session. Committee Chair Jennifer Illuzzi led votes to shift $612 in canceled Community Speak Out custodial fees toward sensory-friendly equipment for town events and to redirect $350 in waived Juneteenth park rental fees to food, paper goods, and supplies for the 2026 celebration. The committee also unanimously approved its Strategic Plan as amended and allocated $440 to purchase branded DEI Committee giveaways for event distribution.
