Sharon Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee approves Juneteenth and school correspondence. The committee voted unanimously to co-sponsor the 2026 Juneteenth initiative with $395 allocated for Department of Conservation & Recreation rental and application fees. A letter to the School Committee and Superintendent Dr.

Peter Botelho regarding recent incidents at Sharon High School passed 5-0-0 after discussion over its tone. The committee also approved 6-0-1 a co-sponsorship of the March 22 Sharon Pluralism Network Community Speak Out and 6-0-0 sponsorship of a Black History Month event featuring Select Board Liaison Kiana Baskin and Sharon High School Black Student Union representatives.
