SHARON — Community Preservation Committee advances $139,000 in spring Town Meeting proposals. Chair Corey Snow convened the six-member panel to evaluate fiscal 2027 spending, with the Sharon Historical Society requesting $26,685 to $28,085 for digitization equipment and services to catalog 1,600 artifacts, and the Lake Massapoag Advisory Committee requesting $100,000 for invasive weed removal and water-quality testing--the latter project totaling $164,245 with Everwood Day Camp providing a 100 percent match. A Town Clerk binding-materials project for $10,800, submitted outside the agenda, was referred to the Historical Commission.
The Committee approved prior minutes unanimously and scheduled next meetings for January 20 and 27.
