Sharon Library Trustees authorize foundation memorial plaques. The Board unanimously approved offering additional memorial plaques and biographies for the ESOL and college care guide areas, extending a practice started in the Historical Room. Chair Cheryl Weinstein led the May 27 meeting; Library Director Randy Gagné reported salary expenses of $109,000 for the remainder of the year with sufficient funds available.
The Friends of the Library reported a May book sale of $10,629.13 and membership revenue of $1,629.57, with the Board determining sales should occur once annually due to sustainability concerns tied to $7,000 annual museum pass costs.
