Library Trustees approve consultant role for outgoing director
Library Trustees · Meeting of January 21, 2026
Sharon Library Trustees retain outgoing director as consultant. The board unanimously approved keeping Library Director Lee Ann Amand on town payroll as a Grant Consultant to finalize construction-project work, pending approval by incoming Director Randy Gagné. In parallel action, Trustees unanimously closed an inactive Eastern Bank account and consolidated its $1,246.37 balance into Harbor One, streamlining treasury management.
Chair Cheryl Weinstein will request Select Board time to advocate for safety improvements at the School Street and Main Street crossing, including crosswalk repainting and signage upgrades. The Library expects to receive $20,000 or more in State Aid in March.
