Library Reuse Committee rejects daycare proposal, questions condo plan
Library Reuse Committee · Meeting of April 14, 2026
SHARON — The Library Reuse Committee deemed Giggles-Wiggles LLC's daycare proposal unresponsive to town requirements, citing insufficient renovation details, lack of outdoor play space, and failure to include real estate tax payments under a triple net lease. Chair Joel Fishman, Vice-Chair Judy Crosby, and members Mike Fillion and Roni Thaler also raised concerns about a Paramount Development Group LLC condo proposal: the design references four levels despite the building having two, the company was administratively dissolved in 2021, and payment terms leave the town unprotected if the developer defaults on construction financing. The Committee will meet separately with each respondent on April 27, 2026.
