SHARON — Lake Massapoag Advisory Committee approves FY27 MVP grant application for submission. Chair Laura Russell led the committee's unanimous approval of the amended application and the final Watershed Based Plan for submission to MassDEP, incorporating edits from the Department of Public Works and input from the Planning Board. The committee voted unanimously to increase geese egg addling funding by five thousand dollars to seven thousand dollars total, extending coverage to all town-owned sites and private properties near the lake, with services provided by Justin Willey of USDA-APHIS.

Members also unanimously approved a thirty-seven thousand five hundred dollar contract with NEAS DASH for lake monitoring services scheduled for June 2026.
