SHARON — Finance Committee identifies corrections needed for five warrant articles ahead of May 4 Town Meeting. Chair Ira Miller and the committee flagged a $238,600 capital transfer authorization missing from the printed warrant, omitted words in a Community Preservation Act motion, and an incorrect property address in an acquisition article. The committee also requested clarification from the Assessors on the scope and financial implications of proposed property tax exemptions, with resident Judy Crosby seeking public access to historical spending data and exposure caps.
Three articles—Wetlands Protection Bylaw Amendment, Seasonal Overnight Parking Ban, and Mansfield Street Conservation Transfer—were removed from the consent agenda for separate discussion at Town Meeting.
