SHARON — Conservation Commission unanimously re-elects officers for 2026. Chair Peg Arguimbau and Vice Chair Jon Wasserman were nominated and approved with all six voting members in favor. LMAC Chair Laura Russell presented a 25-year Watershed Based Plan addressing water quality, stormwater runoff, invasive weeds, and geese management, with nine action items assigned to the commission.
Conservation Administrator Josh Philibert proposed doubling all local bylaw filing fees to align with state midrange, with a formal hearing and vote scheduled for the January 22 meeting. The commission voted unanimously to continue the Birch Hill II Subdivision public hearing to January 22 at the applicant's request.
