Sharon Conservation Commission continues three public hearings to March 5. The board unanimously postponed regulatory decisions on a Crescent Ridge Dairy demolition and construction project at 355 Bay Road, a garage at 738 Mountain Street, and a parking lot renovation at Veterans Memorial Beach. Town Engineer Kyle Dubuc presented the beach project, which includes porous asphalt paving and a $23,064 native vegetation plan designed to reduce erosion and manage stormwater.
LMAC Chair Laura Russell detailed plantings including 22 large native shrubs, 98 medium shrubs, and 90 native grasses. Conservation Administrator Josh Philibert reported the Mary Vantyle estate has donated $10,000 annually in 2024 and 2025, with potential additional gifts.
