Conservation Commission continues hearings on garage, subdivision; backs rodenticide bans.
Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 9, 2026
Sharon Conservation Commission backed two citizen petitions to ban second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides. Chair Peg Arguimbau and members Brad McKeen, Stephen Cremer, and Keevin Geller unanimously supported both Judy Crosby petitions, one banning SGARs use on town property, the other throughout Sharon, the latter requiring Home Rule Petition passage. The commission also continued hearings on a 480-square-foot unpermitted garage at 738 Mountain St. (SE280-0671) to April 23 and on the Birch Hill II Subdivision to May 7, and issued an Administrative Land Disturbance Review Approval for a 45 Richards Ave. garage project that will reduce impervious area by 1,875 square feet.
