Conservation Commission continues four wetlands hearings, approves municipal land transfer
Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 5, 2026
Sharon Conservation Commission continues four wetlands hearings, approves dairy barn determination. Acting Chair Jon Wasserman and members voted unanimously to extend hearings on the Birch Hill II Subdivision and Veterans Memorial Beach parking renovation to March 19, while issuing a negative determination for Crescent Ridge Dairy's barn demolition and reconstruction at 355 Bay Road, conditional on Conservation Administrator Josh Philibert's approval of erosion control specifications. The commission also continued a garage construction hearing at 738 Mountain Street, where homeowner Paul Zavracky's project had begun before Conservation Department involvement and the cement pad does not meet code.
The commission is advancing a warrant article to transfer three Mansfield Street parcels (93R, 71R, and 51R) from Select Board to Conservation Commission care.
