Conservation Commission continues Birch Hill II subdivision hearing to March

Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 5, 2026

Sharon Conservation Commission continues Birch Hill II subdivision hearing to March. The four-lot development off Bay Rd. and Monarch Ln., owned by Birch Hill Trust, Corp. and represented by SITEC Engineering & Environmental Consulting, lacks updated wetland delineation data sheets and contains stormwater report errors, including failure to disclose that the property lies within Stoughton's Zone II groundwater protection district. Applicant representative Steve Gioiosa agreed to have wetland consultant Garrett Tunison provide corrected reports compliant with 2022 Wetlands Manual standards.

The commission voted unanimously to adjourn to a March date selected by the applicant.
