Sharon Conservation Commission issues compliance certificates and addresses violation. The commission voted unanimously to approve a Certificate of Compliance for an in-ground pool at 164 Beach Street and to continue two public hearings at applicant request to September 3, 2026. Chair Peg Arguimbau directed property owner Joseph Watson and contractor Clarence Mevs to submit a revised plan to address an unpermitted driveway violation at 127R Beach Street that added approximately 1,400 square feet of impervious surface in the wetland buffer zone, with possible removal of pavement and fill required.
Conservation Administrator Josh Philibert raised concerns about wetland fill and Department of Environmental Protection approval for the proposed 3,400-foot Lakeview Street Sidewalk Phase II project crossing sensitive wetland resource areas.
