SHARON — The Sharon Conservation Commission voted unanimously to restructure permit fees, doubling most local bylaw rates while maintaining the Riverfront District Act filing fee and advertising costs at $50 each. Conservation Administrator Josh Philibert's Finance Committee-requested review resulted from recent Home Rule changes permitting online and in-person posting of hearing notices instead of newspaper publication; advertising had jumped to $275 with The Patriot Ledger as the sole local print outlet. In related action, the commission issued a Certificate of Compliance for Everett Street improvements and approved an Administrative Land Disturbance permit for a multifamily demolition and construction project at 23 Pond Street, while continuing the Birch Hill II subdivision hearing to February 5 pending revised wetland replication plans and consultant references on tree protection.
