Sharon Conservation Commission approves deck redesign, continues two hearings to May 21. Chair Peg Arguimbau and the commission voted 7-0 to close the hearing and issue a Negative Determination for Scott Selenow's deck at 15 Livingston Road, approving a design that reorients the structure without increasing square footage while moving it further from the waterline. The commission also voted unanimously to approve a Negative Determination for Dimitrios Karydas's after-the-fact dry-stacked stone wall and invasive vegetation removal at 150 Bullard Street.
Two hearings were continued to May 21: NOI SE280-0669 for Birch Hill II Subdivision and NOI SE280-0672 for invasive aquatic plant management at the Cape Club, where Conservation Administrator Josh Philibert presented photographs of algal blooms and questioned whether herbicide treatment alone would adequately address eutrophication.
