Sharon Conservation Commission approves aquatic management for Cape Club golf course ponds. The Commission voted unanimously to issue an Order of Conditions for treatment of seven ponds showing elevated phosphorous levels, with conditions requiring periodic testing and review before the three-year permit expires. In the same meeting, the Commission voted unanimously to approve an Amended Order of Conditions for Lake Massapoag's aquatic management plan, permitting expanded treatment of water lilies and water shields in the South Cove and Fletcher's Cove.
A hearing on a proposed 99-room senior living facility at Norwood Street and Edge Hill Road was continued to August 27 after plans were determined to conflict with municipal stormwater bylaws regarding untreated discharge to the municipal storm drain system. The Commission voted unanimously to approve a Negative Determination for a deck addition at Mansfield Street and unanimously approved an Administrative Land Disturbance Review for a four-unit townhouse project at 7 Summit Avenue pending Planning Board approval.
