Sharon Commission on Disabilities awards high school scholarship, probes facility access. The panel unanimously selected Thomas Zinno for the Leslie Krieger High School Scholarship at its April 23 meeting. Chairman Paul Remy and members identified potential accessibility problems at playgrounds, beaches, and the lake fishing spot bathroom; the Commission will investigate and invite Recreational Development Director Frank Livera to the May meeting.
The Commission also sent a letter to Costco's manager requesting two Caroline's carts for the store but has not received a response.
