Sharon Commission on Disabilities approves revised mission statement emphasizing ADA compliance and access. The seven-member body unanimously backed action to send a letter to the local Costco requesting purchase of a "Caroline's Cart" accessibility device for customers with disabilities, and will contact the Massachusetts Office on Disability on the matter. Automatic door openers for both floors of the Sharon Public Library are moving forward with bids under review by the Standing Building Committee.

A scholarship for a Sharon High School student with a disability will move to review phase in April; applications are being collected by Susan Myerson.
